Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Introduction

Braver Ventures ("we", "us", "our") provides this application (the "Platform") to support clients and clinicians in journaling and tracking wellbeing. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Australian regulations. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and how you can access, correct, or raise concerns about it.

2. Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:

If you turn on notifications, we store a push notification token for your device so we can send you reminders, and we remove the token when you turn notifications off, log out, or delete your account. On Android, these notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Push notifications are not available in the current iOS version; when they are introduced on iOS in a later release, they will be delivered through the Apple Push Notification service.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, use the Platform's features, or connect a third-party calendar. We do not collect personal information about you from other sources without your knowledge.

4. Why We Collect, Use and Disclose Your Information

We collect and use your personal information to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for direct marketing.

5. Use of Artificial Intelligence

To help generate clinical summaries, the Platform sends a structured extract of your journal, symptom, medication adherence, screen-time, and activity information to third-party AI service providers for processing. Before this extract is sent, we remove direct identifiers — your username, name, and email — so they are not disclosed to the AI provider; this information stays within the Platform, and the summary is matched back to your record on our side. We select providers that we believe take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of the information they process, and we use this information solely to generate the summary for your care. See Section 7 for information about overseas disclosure.

6. Who We Share Your Information With

We may disclose personal information to:

We do not disclose your information to any other third party without your consent, except as described above or as required by law.

7. Overseas Disclosure

We currently host the Platform's data using Australian-based infrastructure. However, some third-party services we rely on (including calendar integration, push notification delivery and AI processing providers described above) may process or store information on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, it is not always practicable for us to identify in advance every country involved, as this can depend on the provider's own infrastructure. If you would like more information about a specific disclosure, contact us using the details in Section 12.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No online platform can guarantee complete security, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as it is needed to provide the Platform's services or as required by law. You may contact us to request deletion of your account and associated information; we will action such requests to the extent technically and legally possible, and will let you know if any information cannot be deleted (for example, where we are required to retain records by law).

10. Access and Correction

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within a reasonable period and will only refuse a request where permitted by law, in which case we will explain why.

11. Consent to Collection of Wellbeing Information

By creating an account and voluntarily entering journal, symptom, medication, or activity information, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of that information for the purposes described in this Policy. You are not required to enter any information you are not comfortable sharing, but doing so may limit your clinician's ability to support you through the Platform.

12. Complaints and Contact

If you have a question or concern about how we handle your personal information, or wish to make a complaint, please contact us at braverdeveloper@gmail.com. We will investigate your complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform or our legal obligations. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be highlighted in the Platform.
